the truman show - a short film

i feel like the same thing is happening to me everyday. well not exactly
but some weird coincidental stuff has been going down.

every day when i walk home, the bus passes me at the exact same spot. might be that the bus is just really on time and the speed of my walk is really constant. but that is weird

and today when i went to the station to catch my train, this girl who was wearing this usyd shirt which said department of xray (or something along those lines) caught my eye simply because she was wearing that usyd shirt. (i wanna get a syd uni hoodie btw even though i wont go there) and the fact that i got xrayed by someone wearing the exact same shirt and was tryna figure out whether it was her. she did give me a few looks too

well anyways on my way back she was there at the station again D: at strathfield catching the train back to ashfield . which kind of freaked me out but there used to be this other person who was my "train buddy" a while back. and i use that term very loosely. so probably a giant coincidence

on another note i recommend to anyone when they have the time to do so . go check out wongfuproductions videos on youtube. if you're the sentimental philosophical type, some of their short films are really good. after watching some of their shorts (especially at musing's end even though end was a bit weird) it really made me appreciate short films. i think i'll get more into after trials or HSC

they also have the funny stereotypical videos which i'm sure some of you have heard of like yellow fever or baller

that is it from me now :) hopefully have more time to blog and enjoy the simple things in life .

post-UMAT blog

well. what a day

around about 4000 people packing themselves into that massive hall over 2 time periods to sit a 2.5 hour exam (it was more like 3.5 hours actually with all the waiting)

i don't think i was as nervous or stressed as other people, probably because i didn't think of the enormity of this test. to me it was another practice test on medentry or one of those UNSW comp thingos. but i did start taking deeper breaths on the way driving there

do some preparation in the morning doing some medentry exams and that was a really nice confidence builder cause i got 99 percentile in one of them even though the mark wasn't that high

so get there about 15 minutes early. walk into the waiting area trying to find people i know, i first see aditi (deshwal) who's talking to her NSG friends and say hi and stuff and then i bump into arni, jessie and a few others. surprised at how many people there were actually
jero was telling me about how all these people would be smart people with ATAR above 90's since they were taking the UMAT. i didn't really think about that beforehand

so we get in and i happen to see all these randoms who appear on my facebook home page constantly posting statuses, people which i've never talked to before. and a coupla people i haven't seen in about 5 or 6 years. wasn't really in the mood to talk. so just went straight through to my exam table.

so after what seemed like an eternity, some big loud voice on the speakerphone started announcing stuff and info . you know that kinda jazz
and then after a while we start getting into it. it wasn't until question 4 where i thought, woah holy crap i'm doing the UMAT exam. can't screw up. so while i'm doing section 1, this chinese helper lady starts talking to this other supervisor. and i really can't read when there is noise around me, so i put my head up and gave em a dirty. then they stopped talking thankfully :)

to add to that, i brought a drink bottle with me and had taken a few sips of it before i did the exam. towards the end of the section 1 exam, i really feel the urge to pee. and i was thinking to myself. the exams 2.5 hours surely they'll let pee breaks? so i ask the lady and she tells me that i cant go during the interval (which turned out to be 30 seconds) and i have to go during the exam which kind of made me worried but it was ok cause i finish in time anyway.

so when i've finished my section 2, i really need to go and there's ten minutes left so i get off my chair and suddenly the lady goes
"I'm sorry there's only 10 minutes left, can you go as soon as section 3 starts"
i asked what was wrong with now. but for some reason i'm not allowed to go in the 2nd half of an exam or something which really annoyed me

so as soon as section 3 starts i bolt for the toilet, take a leak and get back to my seat within 1 or 2 minutes. for once moment i was thinking oh that'll be ok since section 3 turned out to be quite easy cept there was 1 or 2 i couldnt do which i might've done with tha little extra time

overall i was quite satisfied, got out of the hall after much waiting and had a little discussion with arni and victor and aryan about it. caught the packed train home and here i am.

doesn't feel like a school night, but it's probably wise for me to start working

take care all

pre-UMAT blog

they say it's important to feel good and happy before you walk into the UMAT exam or else it will drastically affect your result. hence why i am blogging

no it's not really why i am blogging, since i don't believe in that mumbo jumbo
but i got nothing else to do.

so i'm a 1-30 peep so goodies for extra sleep

lets see.. what happened today.
- got chem results back. don't really give a damn

- tried to be conscientious in class. it kind of worked

- maths classes got new carpet !!!. i find it funny how when you get new car or new carpet or anything like that, you can't eat in it or drink stuff either, but after a while, noone gives a damn and it just ends up dirty anyway.
kind of reminds me of primary school when we used to sit on the carpet and listen to stories, and there was this one place of this carpet where there was missing carpet, and so us kids used to pull off the remaining carpet and eventually the carpet had to get replaced.

- felt massively pissy at someone for a while but its all resolved now :)

- went to burwood to pick up my fixed computer. i walked in with my school uniform and the guy fixing it suddenly said hey my son goes to your school ! and as always dad couldn't help himself from mentioning my prefect status == although i highly doubt chinese people know what that is
and for that he gave us 20 dollar discount. muahahaha i love connections.
took a while to figure out who's kid belonged to the computer guy cause they look very similar, then i realised it was ivan, the ladies man of year 7 who hangs out with the girls and gives them gifts as bobby the ivan-stalker would tell us

waiting from the drivers seat for parents to finish talking to ruse father guy while munching on my subway

- burwood subway sells the cheapest subs ever. after 4pm you can get any two footlongs (excl steak and bacon ranch) for 13 bucks! yes 13 bucks. so usually on the way home from guan me and my dad would make a detour to burwood and get 2 sweet onion chicken teriyaki footlong subs for 13 bucks.

- went to library to do a bit of UMAT questions. the library was so empty, felt weird as its usual full of old grandpas and grandmas gettin their moneys worth reading the newspapers. was the last to leave the library after the librarian told me they were closing. i was too in the zone to realise

i don't know whats with my council, and i feel like one of those today tonight people for complaining about this. but this escalator has not been fixed for about 8 months now. and it leads straight to the library. very annoyed that i hafta walk up stairs

well its bed time now, i was photo browsing through my albums and came across a time we played around at star city's gym and pool cause my cousin came overseas and stayed there . i'll leave with a picture of the nice city view :) (it's supposed to be calming)

Beautiful from behind

I feel a bit weird and shallow for mentioning this

but have you ever seen the back of someone and just gone wow i have to take a look at this person. and when you finally do you're kind of dissapointed.
probably applies more for guys than girls, but i hope someone knows what i means xD so it doesn't mean i'm a freak.

well i was at yumcha today and then sitting across from me was this person who looked absolutely amazing from behind. she was playing with her hair and pushing it back and for a moment i felt physically attracted. my moral senses got to me and i quickly turned away as to not further distract myself. but my curiosity got to me and i just had to see who this person was. so at the end of eating i took a unusually long path to get a look at her
AND.......

she was a woman in her 30's or 40's =="
man i feel so bad for doing that. erghh

well with that out of my way. head off to computer shop in a hope to fix my computer . waste like 2 hours of my time there waiting for them to scan viruses and stuff and my dad's there waiting asking really dumb questions being a computer-illerate

head off to the library shortly afterwards to do a coupla UMAT questions and head to the station to go home.
on the way up to the station some lebs look like they are about to stop me or something and i was thinking. oh must be asking for money as usual. while tryna think of what to say they suddenly ask me
"hey, umm could you buy some cigarettes for us?"
kinda surprised me at first and i casually mentioned how i wasn't 18 to their disapointments and headed off to catch the train again

while on the train started thinking about how the boys would've eventually gotten cigarettes anyway and how sad that is.
few people i knew from primary all smoke now, which really shows about social pressures and stuff.

well there's an afterthought to leave you with. looking forward to school tommorow actually

Being smart has it's disadvantages

When people you meet find out that you go to ruse. They suddenly get one of these 3 stereotypes:
- you're extremely smart
- you're a farmer with no taste whatsoever and no life
- you do 4u maths, chem, phys, eco and english which you only do because you have to

sadly. the 3rd one is true.
the reason i bring this up is that this girl on msn (who i've never ever met before in my life but she claims she's seem me over 50 times. which scares me) is constantly pestering me on msn literally with a new maths question every 5 minutes. it's like that's all she ever does - maths.
being ruse, she expects me to have the answers to everything, and thankfully they are all do-able .
at first i didn't mind it because it refreshed my mind and made me feel good i was helping someone out, but now it's just getting annoying. i really feel the urge to block her.

i remember at north sydney girls afternoon tea and we were all sitting around and just chit-chatting someone just asks me what subjects i do. and you know naturally i go through them. and they just start cracking up
"hey! this guy does 4u maths phys chem AND eco !"
in my mind i was thinking. whats the big deal. but you know. fitted into the perfect ruse stereotype

and as for the 2nd point. one of my friends was going off about her skin and hair or whatever and i was criticizing her for caring so much about her looks.
and i got this in return:
" i don't wanna be some ruse farmer who wears crap clothes and doesnt care about how they look"
which kinda surprised me seeing as its a really inaccurate take on us .

and it is always the same line i hear with new people:
"awesome, i finally have someone who can help me with maths"

i guess i don't think much of it anymore because been used to it for quite a while. doesn't really bother me either.
what i like about our school is that we can joke about these things and put these stereotypes on ourselves. i guess we are pretty nerdy though in general

the way i see it is that we're all trees in a canopy of a rainforest competing for sunlight. some will get higher than others but overall as a bunch we are higher than other trees in the rainforest.
seeing people out there blatantly let other people know that they're really good makes me cringe a bit though. nobody likes a show-off . although i might be hypocritical in this sense.

anyways what happened recently:
- made steak and hot chips masterchef style and they turned out to be very nice.
- lotsa UMAT preparation
- falling a bit sick
- worrying a bit about last prefect news
- appreciating cadetship people's experiences through their blogs
- picking up on exercise although asthma is kicking back in

on the topic of exercise, i was running laps of the park yesterday and at this one point i ran past a "sydney buses" bus parked weirdly at the bus stop with all its lights off . and as i looked inside, there was just this one guy in there just sitting really still. i took about 2 more laps to only see the same thing. very strange
also the day before yesterday was running in the sun-rain which gave me this most amazing view of the park as i was running around. i wanted to take a photo with my phone i was using as an mp3. but i didn't wanna stop my run.

i will end it there for now. enjoy the rest of your holidays everyone

Jetlagg.

I just woke up about an hour ago and feeling really guilty about the time i coulda used instead of sleeping all that time.
But its mainly because of :
- chats with friendly people i've just met, on msn late late at night
- watching the tour de france

i don't know what it is about 200 guys in tight bike shorts dancing on their bicycles that makes it so exciting, but i quite like watchin the tour de france.
Currently i'm gunning for this guy Andy Schleck who's coming 2nd overall

and the commentators get all excited about it and stuff too. that aussie guy cadel evans screwed up a stage so now he's chucking a dummy spit

just watching the speed of the race and the phenomenon of air resistance is incredible.
obviously for us we're not travelling at high enough speeds to experience this air resistance but in cycling it makes a big difference.

and what these guys do is freaky. i mean cycling 200km a day for 14 days .

i remember back in year 10 when we decided to have that 'grade picnic' of ours except it rained and about 20 or so turned up.

so we all decided to head back to sy's place for a barbecue which ended up quite nice
but what i remember was me eddy and eddison deciding to ride bikes to her place. i had to use alison's bike and her seat was making my bum really sore the whole way.
to add to that it was pourrinngg and everything got soaked.
in an attempt to get directions, sy's car decided to drive slowly with us so that we could keep up, except we lost em halfway through
and i just remember going up those hills and eddison, i dunno how that guy does it, but he just seems like its effortless. while eddy is about 20m behind him and i'm about 50m back screamingg "please sloww down"
i think it was faster for me to run my bike up the hill than pedal on it.

i've been meaning to post up my hiking trip recap but i'm still halfway through it. bosco how do you do it.

anyways what happened yesterday/after midnight: i'm kinda gettin used to saying "today" after 12am now instead of tomorrow

woke up late as usual, hoped onto the comp to watch highlights of tour de france and the usual facebook and blog check to see if anyone posted up some interesting stuff.
about to settle down to do some UMAT questions when the plumber calls to say he'll come and check up on something and our plumber is a pretty big talker. so i decide to escape to the library with my laptop and books.
get to library and sit myself down and using the library's wifi i start doing questions. but i find it so hard to read while there's noise. cause i keep losing my spot while wishing it would be quiet.

during the holidays there's always kids around the computer section playing wuteva games they play now. i know. that used to me back then playing runescape with all my mates in year 7 when it was the shizz. so i mustve been annoying to people studying for HSC.

well anyways they run out of computer booking time (muahaha quiet at last) when some kid beside me is watching some japanese show and cracking his pants every 30 seconds. and he would be laughing his head off and banging his hand on the table. it was kinda weird. and me and the curry guy to my other side were just exchanging looks of confusion. and then i catch some other guy on his laptop googling pictures of curry girls.

despite all the noise i manage to ace my practice exam surprisingly(i just realised UMAT was on the wednesday so we miss school) and i move on to some other stuff. mum comes to find me after work and we go buy some groceries and go home. and then the next 5 hours seem to pass by within 10 minutes. damn tv.
you think that you'll go and do some work afterwards but noooo there's always gotta be some good show next and so on. i can almost watch anything. except for biggest loser, that got old for me.

planning to lock myself in my room tomorrow for a whole day so ill get some work done, unless i happen to go studying with someone.
so it's bye for now.

Enjoying.theScenery

after i read jero's comment from my previous blog, i went to flickr and checked some fotos out. wow the difference is amazing and theres a lot of awesome pictures there. here's just one of my finds.

ashfield park. it's where i've grown and been raised up all my life. you can actually see my place in that pic but i won't point it out. when i was young my mum used to always take me to the green house they had in the park and see all the plants and butterflies in there. and go play on the equipment . the same old rocking horse thingo is still there to this date.
i've probably run around the park over 1000 times and played cricket in the middle of that field over 100 times in the summer. I would see people playing from my bedroom window and i'd go down to join them. all these curries all the time

one day i was running around the park and the sun was setting and i just got this most amazing view. been meaning to take a picture ever since but i guess now i don't have to

in comparison to my desktop picture i found some good quality alternatives. i still like mine the best tho

this will be somewhat similar to some of your views you business cadet people. maybe wen you rise up the ranks. do the lower ranked people working nearer to the bottom?

gotta do this one day. maybe when nobody is watching in the summer.

watching harry potter IV on tv. dayumm emma watson.

that scene with her walking down the stairs to the ball. i think that's the first time people started percieving her as sexy. i mean before then you could say her character wasn't fitting of the title 'sex symbol'. she was only a kid anyway.

i remember in year 9 or 10 there was some girly obsession with the guy who plays draco malfoy. i still don't get that.

have you realised that in every single "commercial" movie there's always gotta be this absolutely beautiful woman in it that plays a main role. and by commercial i mean movies that are mad to make money, not to "make a point/statement"
like the only reason half the people go to see transformers is megan fox. the other half of the reason is there's robots in it.

Libraryblogging

Currently i am taking a break from my industrial chem studying as i am stuck on one of the dot points and taking the time to blog from the library.

some person beside my is reading the world book while some other person is reading books on how to get rich hahah. good luck with that. while as usual, the rest of the people on my desk are old chinese people reading the chinese newspapers

there's this other guy who was here as well who i see very often at the library studying and he's around my age. but he left quite soon after i arrived

on the topic of laser tagging in suits :P might be an awesome idea for formal after party. as i've already said to swami, here's just one idea that sounds good for after formal.
- go laser tagging in suits at darling harbour M3
- head off to a hotel (star city the nearest one?) and have a chillout session maybe with some talk and games
- go for a walk along darling harbour at 5 in the morning to watch the sun rise. i gotta say, even though i havent done that before. if its a good clear day. darling harbour is absolutely BEAUTIFUL to look at dawn. ( i think dawn means early morning )

i dont know where i got this photo from, but it is currently my desktop picture and looks so nice

might have a go at drawing that one day actually. haven't drawn for ages and it actually used to be one of my hobbies back in year 7 or 8 when i had the time. mum also sent me to drawing class and it was quite enjoyable. i wasn't that bad either. i think one of my drawings is still up on that art place but of course it cant match anything to the crazy VA ppl and what they draw.

i also don't understand the love for cameras. i guess its cause i dun appreciate photography and still art, always been more of an admirer of landscape and traditional art. but in the end. isn't it just another camera. what's the difference between my phone camera and a 2000 dollar nikon whatever. probably better resolution or zoom or SFX. but for now im quite satisfied with my nokia N95 to post up my blog pics

i've been wasting quite a bit of time lately on facebook and other random sites just browsing through other peoples pitctures and its really interesting that u can find out so much about a single person just by looking at their fotos. like people ive only met once or twice before who've added me on facebook
after re-reading what i just type, might've sounded a bit stalkerish but wen sum1 uploads fotos onto the home page u cant help but have a little look.

also realised that a lot of other people from other schools are really into dressing up for harry potter and stuff. pretty strong and confident people. i have yet to watch the movie but i will sometime soon. i hear its good
watched bruno yesterday. erghh it wasnt as good as borat probably because the provacativeness has been done before by borat. so it didnt have the same effect. some pretty gross stuff though.

now it is back to my long tiring study. i feel like im gettin nowhere
but practise makes perfect

feeling nostalgic

i've been going over old fotos lately and wow. i miss those junior years
such good times
and year 10 formal basically summed it up

i will post up a bosco-esque review of my year 10 hiking trip soon

been uploading fotos onto facebook and wasting my time watchin random vids on youtube

i realise that theres a lot to do and my blogs are gettin really repetitive
just a things i have to do tomorrow so i set it down in stone:
- do a 4u trial paper
- finish writing physics notes
- finish writing chem notes
- re-do module A essay
- do area of study comprehension

congratulations to swami and belle for gettin cadetships and maybe peter too? havent heard much from him. he sure mustve tho, freaky all rounder
you're living my old dream
wow ernst and young. businessman. overseas trips. bluetooth headsets. cashed up lunches. we're growing up so fast. dont fade away tho

short post for today. im feeling lazy

OMG its origin tonight !! just realised :D yayayay

couppla things to do before i die:
- go to an origin match
- go to an ODI
- become a regular at a cafe
- learn a new language
- own a pet
- go laser tagging in suits
- dunk a basketball
- form a soccer team
- spend 30 bucks on a burger
- be on TV

end of term recap - holidaylibrarying

time is flying fast.
and it hasnt been that fun. well its been ok
preparing for the end of term assembly was enjoyable but also sad cause its the last thing we'll really ever do. didn't turn out that good but heh, maybe with more practise and if we didnt hafta rush it. perhaps it mightve been better.
and this excuse. oh i cant do this and that cause of study. we're all hypocritical for saying that. i probably waste so much time just browsing facebook and even typing this blog, so i can always fit other things in.
hoping that we'll be able to make a good final prefect news .

the quiz thing in the assembly was supposed to be longer and some of the questions were those type of 'questions only ruse people would know the answer to'
for example"

which teacher's glasses do these belong to

how much does this cost in the canteen

what does the sign say. its the name of the road that leads to the quadrangle from the teachers parking lot

wow. this nsg just got offered a cadetship at pwc. she sounds very happy.
but that must be a pretty good feeling regardless of what people say about how crappy cadetships are. gives you confidence in yourself and wow how much dus she get offered? 30K? that's a lot of money for us kiddies
and sounds like her future is all set. the rest of us still aint so sure

that is why i'm determined to get through this period of study. once u sit ur butt down and get into it. its not that bad. its just the sitting ur butt down bit that's hard
2 more exam periods and that's it . went to state library yesterday which is an awesome library. so many good HSC resources and good study environment

and parra library today. which is always noisy. there's always these people who
make themselves feel good by going to libraries but go there and just talk to each
other. but they come out of it feeling good cause they feel like they got sum study done. which is kinda annoying for the rest of us who are trying to work and cant cause of the noise
kinda makes u think why dun u have a nice little chat sumwhere else.
it was ok tho. now i must do umat

to finish it off just some photos. i was gonna put up a foto petey and richard posed for in the change rooms but it was too sexy and private to be shown. if u wish to see it let me know urself.

Bargain hunting

due to my mum's asian cheapness and tryna get the cheapest deal for braces out there.
every month i hafta venture out to hurstville to get my braces tightened which basically means my afternoon/night is filled with just waiting at the orthodontist. usually get home around 8 or 9 due to how far away it is.
so i get there at my appointed 6pm time. but end up waiting until 6-50 as usual. saw our school on the news for about 30 seconds and people in the waiting room watchin were giving me weird looks after seeing that.
so finally get called up. and he fiddles around with this and that and tightens my braces. i end up falling half asleep while lying there and it takes him 2 times to say "open your mouth" for me to realise what he was saying and open wide.
so finish at 7-30 to the sound of home and away theme song in the waiting room. go to westfield to get some stuff to eat. and just my luck one of my things stuck to my teeth comes off. and i hafta go back to the orthodontist. get there at like 8-30. end up waiting till 9 something while watching ashes on the tele.
finally sticks it back on and i call up my dad to pick me up. so end up gettin home at around 10 something.

but while waiting for him to pick me up. did something which all true asians will recognise. dad called me up and said he'd be there in 15 and there was a coles right next to me. so i said hey ill go check up coles in case i wanna buy some liquidy stuff since i cant eat solids after my braces get tightened. go around
and this is what we call bargain hunting. u know those stickers they put on stuff really late at night cause they expiry date is coming soon.
used to do this with swami and a coupla other ppl at coles epping sometimes. and sometimes we'd walk away with an absolute cracker of a deal.

go to the milk section and theres this other asian there too looking for those stickers and i just happen to come across the dare iced coffee marked at 50c. check the expiry date and its the next day. after a moment of thinking, i decide against it as i probably wouldnt be drinking coffee at night or the day after.
so instead i go get some oak vanilla malt milk marked at 1-50 and a 2 pack of mango yoghurt for me to eat marked at 1-50 also.

speaking of bargain hunting. my dad just came home this morning with two packets of beef mince. which we hardly eva eat. its always pork mince which we eat in dumplings and other stuff. so i guess its lotsa pasta for the next few days

off to watch zoolander and its a trip to state library tomorrow . they have good HSC resources. and its a nice study environment

Mindblowing.

wow. i just finished watching the matrix. good movie.

i know it's pretty late. and mindblowing stuff. could be us :O
but whoever came up with that is has a really really deep imagination. did this film win any awards?

anyways i am all good now and to give myself 'rest time' i took the night off yesterday and watched movies. watch hangover, watched harry potter 5th one just to keep up to date, and watched the half of matrix.

cause i suddenly remembered in year 6 all my class wanted to go see matrix reloaded and i didnt go cause i didnt watch matrix . plus i wasnt allowed too since i was a nerdy asian kid who did selective school paper practice and loved fibonacci

team photo day today. felt kinda weird cause its our last one. never eva gonna do it again. planning on keeping these photos for a long time so i can boast to my kids about how awesome i thought i was like my dad does.

btw did anyone notice src week last week? i didnt even notice anything. i guess cause we're year 12 and everythin we're not really into the festivities anymore.
i will leave it there. i promised myself id finish my work

photo spam time from last years src week

look at aryan. weird hair
got used to not seeing that. lol look at mcnaughty too . i think they're all stoned watchin the footy. i cant seem to find the photo of sarav invading helena's personal space

dun ya just wanna kiss him

he got up high. shuldve had handball this time around. that was awesome

I'm bloody drug overdozing

i'm freakin tripping pills. fell ill on friday with a mild headache and its gotten worse ever since with fever and some other pretty nasty stuff
threw up just as i was gettin out of the car for first aid yesterday. so if u happen to walk by felton rd tomorrow please be aware of a possible pile stile there

in an attempt to cure me and everything, i've been popping so much pills.
this is basically the stuff ive been taking the past few days

feel quite good now actually. but you never know. might fall ill again
the line for the doctor was sooo long today. went to ashfield and there were 21 people ahead of me with only one doctor. damn doctors. there should be more working on the weekend. so instead went to neighbouring suburb haberfield where it was a bit better with only 5 people with two doctors.

looking forward to photo day tomorrow. just to see what everyone is coming as
and its the last photo day eva so i plan to buy all the group team fotos and stuff
special shoutout to swami. who isnt feeling very well right now.
get better mate. bad luck about gettin sick just before photo day

only an unrelated note. came up with a new 'lexicon' term . HAW
stands for high achieving whingers. term given to someone who does very well in exams but still complains about their marks.

now it's off to finish my dodgy eco assignment which i need to fix up badly.

the burger hut.

its this tiny burger hut behind a flouro green sign stuck between a dry cleaner and a chemist shop.

you go into the place and you get served by a grumpy mid aged woman and his kinder husband. although i go there probably twice a week and order the same 'special burger and chips' everyday. the lady is persistent in shutting me down and goin:
WHAT DO YOU WANT
the husband is a bit more kinder but i always get served by the lady. so i can never try me "oh just the usual" line.
it all started one day when me and swami caught the 546 bus and the bus dropped us off early near this place. we were feeling hungry and swami noticed a sign. the same bit of chalk written on that board has been there ever since and it reads
special: plain burger and chips $4.50
we thought. hey thats pretty cheap so we persisted to try "the burger"
and ohh what heaven that first bite was. that soft bun, that beautiful patty that just rolled around in ur mouth and melted. and who could forget that single piece of beetroot. which just topped it all off as the greatest burger i've ever had.

and since then we've gone there regularly to taste "the burger"

food was never so good.

speaking of food. planning to rock up to normo tomorrow to eat their food. cept asked one of their guys and sounds like they have bad food. but wutevs. time to soak up this last 2 weeks of prefect privilege
it's been a good run
and now its study study study time.

living far away sucks cause school events are so hard to get to . biggest regret is not gettin my Ls wen i first turned 16. what the hell was i thinking.
it seems like everyones excuse not to do stuff is cause of study. i said i didnt wanna get Ls cause i had to study. what a fool i was.
now i hafta wait till bloody november to get my Ps while i stare jealously at people like rishi kelly ben james manbir etc. in their cars driving home
that'd be really convenient .

but for now it is off to study. i recommend the burger at de grill. its a must-try
