It's really nice to get in touch with your spiritual side even though obviously some people out there suddenly get the idea of brainwashing and scams. which is kinda sad.
well today was quite a very eventful and exciting day :)
first of all woke up late but managed to do a little bit for the school at working bee. my moral sense called on me to help out the school, even we didnt end up doing much except for shoveling mulch.
been starting to feel really nostalgic and sentimental lately about school. actually been talking about old school times a lot lately to a few people. just the memories. where we can just look back and laugh at how stupid and naive or shallow we were.
the school has been good to me. and as gay as this sounds. it feels like a second home.
so how could i not go to our last working bee.
turn out from our grade wasn't that strong. other grades were quite reasonable. afterwards played a bit of footy and soccer on the oval with a couple of the guys
still remember the times when we had 1.6 and we'd run across the demountables and the old canteen. where the oval used to just be a patch of hard ground without grass. and juniors and seniors would play footy and soccer at the same time on the same area.
so anyways swami's mum gives us a lift afterwards and we go to swami's place for a bit of table tennis and chillaxing. played table tennis. sadly i did lose a set to swami 11-7
and also took some incriminating photos which i kinda wish i hadn't after they were posted up on facebook for people to see. didnt know that was gonna happen. funny how it's only funny when it's happening to other people
anyways after some nice hospitality,me and matt head off to epping station and get into the city for rice!
pass the E&Y building on our way to pepper lunch. go in and order some stuff and shortly afterwards the whole ruse group comes to eat and we took advantage of our numbers to get a free eel pepper rice after 10 purchases :P
was quite nice and headed off to sydney entertainment centre.
wow so many asian people and all together for one cause. it was a really nice feeling. and just the whole feeling of togetherness and spiritual feeling was just priceless. really glad i went. it was a first for me.
i highly recommend it even if you're not christian. i know you think it may be awkward but.
i remember my first time going to church. and feeling really nervous because i thought i'd be judged by my actions and everything. but it just turned into something i really looked forward to going to and the people there were just such good people.

and overall a very good fun night
dad came to pick me up and we headed off home. watched a bit of the notebook which i really like. very sweet romance movie. i don't get why they made the lady forget the husband again in the end though.
