Library adventures

So today i hop off to macquarie uni library for the first time. cause i like those kinda things. visiting different libraries. gives me incentive to work

Stupid city rail inconveniently trackworked the northern line so i had to catch the railbus which took 40+ minutes to get from strathfield to epping despite the 20 minutes which they said it would. but i read my chem textbook on the way like a nerd so not much time was lost.

on the way we passed rhodes where all the corporate buildings are and waterfront apartments. why does water look so pleasing to the eye?
i realised rhodes would be a pretty sweet place to live, however it'd be tonnes expensive

so anyways, eventually get to the library with some help from kelly (damn macq uni is big) and start to get into the work. uni's have a different vibe to it, not as homey like school, but the library was pretty nice. 4 floors and the top floor was quiet as. such a nice study environment. mr bal was right when he told us to go study at uni libraries if you couldn't concentrate.

after a while, carol was there too and we go lie around in the sun for a while with this really really nice view. and there was a fountain and stuff too
such a good day to lie around too. so sunny and my jeans were burning me.

must've been the vitamin D or something, but i felt great afterwards and went back to chem. gosh there's so much to learn. but made efficient use of my time and went through quite a bit, so feeling quite alright. just looking forward to the end of trials really. though it's gonna be kinda saddening in some aspect

and that was about it for my day. left around 5 to catch dodgy cityrail home . been thinking about my next 10 things for my list and here it is :

- nerd at 25 different libraries in sydney
- become good friends with a black guy (the american ones)
- go to a TGI friday
- attend a lawn bowls match
- stay at an all you can eat restaurant for more than 4 hours
- stay in a waterfront property for over a week
- ride a bike to work once a week for 3 months
- pick up squash
- go to watch an origin match
- buy one of those giant spirit bottles which are like 5 L and just use it as a display

thats it for now. take care all

  1. TGI?

    I agree about lawn bowls.
We could go Carlo RSL? There's also cheap, decent food there in the evening.

The problem with Rhodes is there isn't really a lot of cool stuff there. Awesome shopping centres, things to do etc. apart from Ikea. THIS REMINDS ME! WE NEED TO HAVE BREAKFAST AT IKEA. SOMEONE TOLD ME IT'S NICE AND CHEAP.
